With the Eagles soaring to the Super Bowl and winning Lincoln calling Philadelphia home, they wanted to speak directly to their fellow people and capture the true feeling of what it means to be a part of the city and its culture.

And hey, wondering if I can be a team player? I’m a Giants fan. I fucking hate the Eagles. Every letter I wrote for this was an insult to the very core of my being. But I knocked it all out and had to watch the Eagles win a Super Bowl and ensure that everything I wrote went through.

(The next year, they’d have an actual Eagles fan write their playoff copy. They did not make it past the first round. The Football Gods are trolls.)
